Day 17: Karma Points

2011 Earnings so far:  1,680.50

Today’s contest:  Fuse Pilates gift card giveaway
Rules:  Get as many of your facebook friends to “Like” the Fuse Pilates Facebook page and have them post on their wall thatcha sent them there.   It’s a 72 hour windsprint like contest that ends Friday
Prizes:  Gift cards up to $50 from Lulu Lemon for people who get the most wall recognition

I was feeling a little blue-skees today when I discovered that I lost in two contests, count em TWOOOOOO (that was a high A flat...curtsey and thank you).  These were the “Name a Skeleton” contest and “Tell us why you need a piece of furniture from Boston Interiors” entry...I am burning over how badly I wanted that Giselle Sofa in Oyster (deep breath innnnn…and….out).
So I thought I might need some good karma points.  My friend Mariska reached out to me and told me about this online contest she has going on.  She runs a Pilates studio in DC and is building up an online presence.   She asked me to help.  I said YEEES Sisterrr!  We love being of service when ever possible and this was a good opportunity.  And if I win the Lulu Lemon gift card..flawless! Then I’ll take these pants..right off of him.

I hope this symbiotic act grows both her company and helps me wash away any negative karma I may have accrued recently.
Please go “Like” www.facebook.com/FusePilates
And then post on the wall “Matthew Fletcher suggested I like you”
You'll be helping us both out.

Trust and believe that we can all use a little extra karma...and Carmex...it's really good for chapped winter lips.

Karmic thinkers

Karma moves in two directions. If we act virtuously, the seed we plant will result in happiness. If we act non-virtuously, suffering results. ”
Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche  -Shambala Buddhist

There is a wonderful mythical law of nature that the three things we crave most in life -- happiness, freedom, and peace of mind -- are always attained by giving them to someone else. ”
Peyton Conway March - US Army Chief of Staff

My karma ran over your dogma.

And still others say it best with song…and eyeliner
