Ummmm....This contest is advertising Halloween shenanigans. WHUT? I was at the drug store this weekend and the card section was teeming with Ghouls, Frankensteins, and Fur (of the werewolf variety).
I was just on the beach. May I please have a week to ease out of summer, Hallmark? Must I start already concepting a costume? Ahhh, the holiday presh!
My projections on big costumes this year:
Lots of bois in drag a la Lady Gaga's Joe Calderone
Drag queens of the city donning the "Crazy Eyes" Michele Bachman
And finally there are bound to be some Hurricane Irene interpretations.
Maybe people in raincoats with some lawn furniture attached to them....or women with really blown out hair holding onto candles and canned goods..or people just dressed up as women who look like your Aunt Irene
