I spent the majority of my day prepping for a baking contest that I am going to enter tomorrow. I was on a total scavenger hunt searching for a specific chocolate sauce I need..which was only in one store....on the Upper East Side. You won't normally find me in this neck of the woods. This is a part of town I visit only when I need old Jewish lady things....like a leopard print scarf perhaps, ingredients for people with food allergies or a good accountant. It's the land of old furniture shops and women with frozen faces perusing them...refurbished antiques staring back at each one another.
